Roots Review Assignments
There are two roots review assignments. The first one is optional. The second one is not.
- For the first assignment, you'll be making flash cards. I strongly recommend you use this free printable flash card maker and print out or email me the printed out sheet. It's really, really easy. Here's a sample of what you need to do. Here are the instructions: Make two cards for each root. Both cards should have the root on one side. One card will have the definition on the back. The other card will have at least two sample words on the back. You can print out the flash cards and bring them to class, you can show me the flash cards on your mobile device, or you can email them to me.
- The second assignment requires you to write a paragraph using at least fifteen words with roots listed above. Make sure you highlight or underline the word using the root. This assignment must be turned in to turnitin.com. Your grade will be based on the quality of your writing and the correct use of words with roots.
